Ride Experience: CONTAINS SPOILERS

You enter the hotel's lobby and look around. It is very old. Luggage is left behind, a card game is left unfinished and a little doll has been left on the seat. The two main elevators in the lobby have had their doors crumpled and the floor indicator indicates a floor below the basement. As you are directed towards a pair of doors which open. You go in and  it's the hotel library. The lights suddenly flash off and there is a rumble of thunder an old TV shows the guests the ride's story. it flashes off and you are directed into the boiler room. You stand in front of an old service elevator and wait for it to come down from a floor above Floor 12. When it arrives, a bellhop shows you to your seat. You get in and the doors close. The elevator moves backwards and rises up to Floor 5. The door opens and you and the others are in front of a large mirror. A narrator tells you to "wave goodbye". You do so and then your reflection turns into a ghostly image. It disappears with a shudder an you descend to Floor 3. The door opens and you see a long corridor. The ghosts of the 5 people who disappeared...appear and they wave at you, urging you to join them. They begin to arc with electricity and abruptly vanish. The hallway turns to stars as an elevator door at the end opens with the people in it. They fall out of view. Then the door falls. Then so do you. You drop down a floor then another. You race to the top as the doors in front open and you can see all of DCA. You then fall again to the bottom opened door then out of sight into the darkness. You rise up but then fall again. The lights in your elevator flicker on as the elevator tries to raise you up and out of danger but as you reach the opened doors again and can see the outside world. They flicker off as you fall all the way to the bottom of the shaft. You hear gears and springs clang behind you. The elevator moves forward and you disembark.
