Name: Space Mountain Type of attraction: Indoor Rollercoaster Speed: 32mph Theming: Set in Space Station 77, Space Mountain towers over Tommorowland with it's futuristic spires. Board a rocket car and then blast off into the depths of "Super Space".		Facts and tips: Closed throughout 2005 for "Re-Imagineering" Opened again with new effects, coaster cars and soundtrack. Very popular. Try to use a Fastpass. But try to get it early, they go pretty quickly!

As you enter the mountain, it is very futuristic. Doors to launch bays and cargo hold are everywhere as a safety video plays showing what to do to be safe (obviously). Entering the launch bay, you see people boarding their ''rockets'' to blast off into space. After waiting a bit longer, you enter your ''rocket'' It has speakers around each seat with a safety bar. After a crewmen checks your reastraints. You move forward and to the left. As orchestal music plays, you hear voices saying " Initiate power transfer". You go up a hill surrounded by red neon tubing. You enter a tunnel that begins to flash blue and you hear a high pitched whistling getting higher and higher. You suddenly veer right and head up another hill as a red tunnel envelops you. It is spinning and it begins to disorient you into thinking YOU are spinning. At the top of the hill is a swirling galaxy which abruptly disappears and you go over the top of the hill. You glide onto straight track as you are surrounded by stars everywhere you look. As a countdown begins, you go up yet another hill. Just as you go over this hill, you suddenly increase in speed, a voice shouts out "BLASTOFF!" and the music suddenly goes techno and as you hurtle through the stars you cannot see where you are going. You turn corner after corner, feel drop after drop as the music plays throughout the journey. You cannot help but smile as you zoom round left and into a spectacular starburst which also takes your photo. You exit your car feeling happy and exhilerated.
