Grants Pass and the Rogue River Valley

 Grants Pass was the town we stayed at on the other side of visiting Crater Lake. Between Crater Lake and Grants Pass is the Rogue River Valley and the drive down the side of the river is wonderfully scenic. We had struggled to find a place to stay on the Internet to the west of Crater Lake without going all the way to Grants Pass. We drove past loads of places as we drove down the Valley. The electronic superhighway does not seem to have got this far !

As with Klamath Falls the town we stayed at on the other side of Crater Lake, we felt we could have stayed at Grants Pass a few days had our itinerary allowed. There were jet boat tours up the Rogue River and a mystery area the Oregon Vortex nearby.
