The Yahoo group UK_2_USA was founded on May 28th 2001 as a Yahoo club. In March 2002 we went through a traumatic transition to a group from a club, when it looked like Yahoo had lost us. But we are back in business now ! The bulk of the 256 members (correct in Nov 2012) are British but we have a healthy contingent of US members who help out with the knowledge of their wonderful country. Have a look at the group home page and if you like what you see join it ! Look below left to see the last 10 messages posted, click on the links to read the full message. The rest of this web page is used to pull together themes that have been discussed on the groups message board.

You can certainly understand why none english speakers have a choice of two languages to learn, English or American English. Follow this link American / English Dictionary
