Some general Utah information
Utah is a landlocked state bordered by Nevada to the west, Idaho and Wyoming to the north, Colorado to the east, Arizona to the south and at one point New Mexico (see Four Corners). Utah has about 1.7 times the land area of England with only 2 million inhabitants (England has 50 million).
The Capital of Utah, Salt Lake city famed for its Mormon connections conjurs up desert images which although true is not the whole story as there are many skiing resorts in the nearby montains.
Southern Utah has some of the most spectacular scenery on earth to see in the national parks there.
