I did not think much of the town of Hot Springs. It gave me the impression it has seen much better
days in the past.
However, there is a naturally heated (hot springs - get it ?) swimming complex come water park
called Evans Plunge that kids will probably enjoy. There is also the Mammoth Hot Springs visitor
centre where you can see an incredible excavation of mammoth bones. The latter is well worth a
diversion to see even if you dont stay in the town.
