A very short route with really only one object, to see Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. This section started our holiday off and was followed by a loop round the Grand Canyon and then a few days in Tucson before flying home.
Day 1 Flew into Cody Day 2 Stayed in Cody
Day 3 Drove 120 miles to Yellowstone , we stayed in the Old Faithful Lodge, a magical building.
Day 4 Drove around the park loop road, a wonderous drive of 145 miles and stayed in Old Faithful again.
Day 5 Drove 100 miles to Jackson seeing the magnificent Grand Tetons on the way.
Day 6 Stayed in Jackson
Day 7 Setting off in the early hours of the morning we drove the 180 miles back to Cody to fly on to Las Vegas. We were lucky enough to witness the sunrise striking the Grand Teton mountains - wow what a sight !
