This was the second leg of the holiday this particular year. The first leg was from Toronto to Niagara Falls and back to Toronto before flying down to Durango via Denver. After the leg on this page we flew on to Reno and Lake Tahoe, before flying to Los Angeles to finish the holiday in Disney Land.

Day 1 Flew to Durango

Day 2 Drove via Mesa Verde to Cortez. Only a drive of 70 miles but a long day if you want to see a lot of what Mesa Verde has to offer.

Day 3 Drove via Four Corners to Moab 195 miles in total.

Day 4 Saw Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, stayed in Moab again.

Day 5 Drove 90 miles to Grand Juction

Day 6 Drove to Ouray 100 miles into the San Juan mountains of the rocky mountain range.

Day 7 Stayed in Ouray

Day 8 Drove via Silverton to Durango along 70 miles of the million dollar highway. Wonderful mountain scenery.

Day 9 Flew on to Reno.
