Some general Nevada information
Nevada is a landlocked state bordered by California to the west, Oregon and Idaho to the north, Utah to the east and Arizona to the south east.
Nevada has about 2.2 times the land area of England with only 1.8 million inhabitants (England has 50 million). The Capital of Nevada, Carson City is dwarfed in importance by the principal city Las Vegas. However, Las Vegas is not all Nevada has to offer. There is Lake Mead the flooded lower end of the Grand Canyon to the south east and Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains to the west.
